Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy

Founder, Crying On The Sofa

Ryan started Crying On The Sofa to give people in tech a place to talk honestly about what's behind the smile. He's also the founder of EM Accelerator and writes The Software Engineering Times newsletter.

Georgina Shute

Georgina Shute

Georgina has spent 15 years building large-scale software and systems used by millions of people. Diagnosed with ADHD in her late twenties, she now helps overloaded managers reclaim time and build sustainable ways of working. She's worked across multiple organisations and supported more than 1,000 people through coaching, workshops and talks. She runs KindTwo, with one mission: compounding kindness, helping people redesign how they work before burnout makes the decision for them, and finding joy in the process.

Michael Banner

Michael Banner

Mike has worked in the software industry for 15 years, beginning as a developer and working his way into leadership across startups and large organisations. He now works as a Head of Engineering at Co-op. He first acknowledged his own mental health struggles in his late 20s, and has actively tried to break down the stigma surrounding it ever since.

Our motto

If you let tomorrow be a better day, imagine how great next week can be.

Good to know

Before you come.

It's completely free

RSVP just helps us plan seats and tea. There's never a charge, and there never will be.

Come exactly as you are

No dress code, no networking, no pressure to speak. Slip out whenever you need to.

Save your seat

Register free.

Add your name and tell us a little about why you'd like to come. No spam, no newsletters, just the details you need for the night.

A small heads up: the room only holds 50, so registering puts your name forward rather than guaranteeing a seat. We'll send a "you're in" email with the full details to the first 50. If we can't fit you in this time, we'll let you know and hold a place for the next one.

50 seats · limited. We'll let you know either way.

Free · we'll never share your details.
